Sefton Coast and Countryside Rangers

There is a new service being started by Sefton Coast and Countryside Rangers - The Biodiversity and Access Project or BAP.

The project is for people with learning disabilities and is paid for through Direct Payments.

Personal Independence Payments

The Government is planning to change Disability Living Allowance to a new benefit called Personal Independence Payment from 2013.

The Government want to find new and better ways to work out who gets Personal Independence Payment. This will be done through an assessment.   An assessment is the way the Government will work out if a person can get Personal Independence Payments.

There is a consultation about the assessment to get Personal Independence Payments.  This is when the Government asks people what they think about their ideas and plans.

We need you to let them know what you think.

Autism Act 2010

The Government needs your help,  It is asking for any ideas to make sure the lives of people with Autism are made better.   The Council and Health services have to make services better for people with Autism including people with Aspergers.

They have written a plan of what they want Councils and Health Services to do.  See that here.
